Art Bra KC: Fashion show to help those touched by breast cancer

Kansas City, Mo. - A unique fashion show and auction will celebrate breast cancer survivors and their triumph over cancer.

Art Bra KC features 70 eclectic work-of-art bras. They will be auctioned off during a live fashion show. All the models are breast cancer survivors and patients; their runway costumes will coordinate to the theme of the Art Bra they model.

Art Bra KC benefits the University of Kansas Cancer Center Patients in Need fund at Missy’s Boutique. It provides life-empowering services to uninsured and underinsured people who are touched by cancer. The top 25 eclectic work-of-art bras are modeled by breast cancer survivors.

All the bras are designed by family and friends of survivors, local artists, celebrities and volunteers.

Art Bra KC also features a VIP experience. You can meet the Art Bra models and mingle with professional athletes such as Aurelien Collin of Sporting KC along with Dustin Colquitt and Ryan Succop of The Kansas City Chiefs.
