KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Happening this Saturday at the Waldo Fall Festival, the Brookside-Waldo Lions Club will be conducting free hearing screenings.
Chris Robb is President of the Brookside-Waldo Lions Club. He was a guest on Thursday's edition of 41 Action News Midday with Cynthia Newsome.
Robb said the Lions Club is committed to helping people discover if they have hearing problems so they can contact their physicians and begin identifying the hearing problem and correcting it.
"Each person will be screened individually," Robb said.
"They will put on a pair of headphone and be asked to click a button when they hear a beep," he continued.
The Lions Club hearing van will be located at 75th and Wornall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 21.
Cynthia Newsome is a member of the Brookside-Lions Club and will be volunteering at the hearing booth from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
