KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Tina Fey and local favorite Paul Rudd are bringing a mix of drama and comedy to the box office this weekend with 'Admission.'
Film Critic Valissa Smith stopped by 41 Action News to give her verdict on the film.
The movie tells the story of a Portia Nathan, a Princeton admissions officer (Fey), who is up for a major promotion. She is reunited with John Pressman, a former college friend, during a recruitment visit to an alternative school. Pressman believes his gifted student, Jeremiah, could be the son Portia gave up for adoption many years ago. Portia finds herself bending rules for Jeremiah in a new exhilarating life with romance that she never dreamed of having.
'Admission' is in theaters now.
