KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The KC Food Circle is a non-profit organization giving eaters a chance to meet the growers face-to-face at the 15th Annual Exhibition of Farmers.
The local group works to connect people with local food producers who grow sustainably and free-range.
At the expo, people can buy local, organic produce; free-range meat, eggs and dairy; and vegetable seeds for gardening. Visitors will also be able to sign up for Community Supported Agriculture, where you can buy food directly from farmers.
There are two expo events.
The first one is Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Shawnee Civic Center, located at 13817 Johnson Drive in Shawnee, Kan.
The next expo is Saturday, April 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Penn Valley Community College. This is located at 3201 Southwest Trafficway in Kansas City, Mo.
