Lindsay joined KSHB in May 2009 as a morning reporter and multimedia journalist. She is so excited to be back home in Kansas City!
From devastating storms to high-profile court cases to the basketball court for March Madness, Lindsay's career has sent her across the country. She has been on the ground in Joplin, Missouri and Moore, Oklahoma after massive tornadoes swept through. She went to Louisiana to tell the stories of Hurricane Katrina. She has loved traveling to bring viewers in the middle of March Madness! Lindsay followed her Missouri Tigers to Washington D.C. and even KU on their amazing journey to the NCAA Championship in San Antonio in 2008. Don’t worry, MU fans, she wore royal blue but never wore a Jayhawk, ha!
Lindsay comes to KSHB from WIBW in Topeka, Kan. Her love for journalism and politics really flourished in college at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She began her career there, reporting for NPR affiliates across Missouri from the state Capitol. She also spent two years during college reporting and anchoring for KOMU.
Being a reporter has been Lindsay’s dream since childhood. She got her first taste of television news right here growing up in Liberty schools.
The constant reporter, Lindsay loves exploring Kansas City and has never met a coupon she doesn’t like!!! She loves trying to learn new languages. Between Lindsay and her husband Sebastian, they speak four! They love to cook, run, and play with their two rascally wiener dogs named Ruby and Rocco.
