Commuters across the Kansas City metro area experienced major delays.
- A major accident blocked all lanes, except one, on northbound 71 Highway past 22nd Street in Kansas City, Missouri. Very little information is released about this crash.
- MoDOT Kansas City says an asphalt plant broke overnight causing a delay on mill and fill work on southbound Interstate 35 before 291 in Liberty.
- Multiple vehicle crash reported on southbound Interstate 35 at Armour Road. North Kansas City Police suggest taking another route.
All accidents have been cleared.
