KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you like folk and pop music, you may want to be at the 8th annual JayRock Concert. The event benefits JayDoc, a free clinic that provides non-emergency urgent and preventative care to the uninsured and underinsured populations of Greater Kansas City.
The clinic is open Monday and Wednesday evenings, with specialty clinics on Tuesdays. It's run by attending physicians, residents and medical students. All of them work on a volunteer basis.
The concert is at 8 p.m. on Feb. 15 inside the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri. This year’s show features Quiet Corral and Cowboy Indian Bear. Both bands are based in Lawrence, Kansas.
