St. Jude Dream Home opens to the public

RAYMORE, Mo. - For the first time this year, people are getting their chance to check out the St. Jude Dream Home.

The grand opening of the $600,000 home is Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Creekmoor Community.

The 4,482 square foot house has five bedrooms, five baths, a three car garage, a finished basement with a home theater and wet bar as well as a safe room.

The home, located at 1110 Metfield Lane, will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.

While you are there, you can get your chance to win the home. All you have to do is buy a $100 ticket and that will get your name into the drawing on June 24.

The open house continues through Father's Day, June 17.

Only 9,500 tickets are available this year. More than 4,000 have already been sold.
