KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Sports Reporter Dee Jackson returns home to Kansas City, and is thrilled to be covering his hometown teams. A graduate of Lincoln Prep, Dee set several school and state records on the baseball diamond. He is even in the National High School Record Book for stolen bases, and played Outfield at Alabama A&M University receiving his degree in Telecommunications.
Jackson went on to become one of the most decorated television personalities in the state of Alabama, serving as Sports Director/Anchor for the Alabama News Network in Montgomery, providing nightly content for the ABC, CBS and FOX affiliates. Dee has been recognized by the Associated Press multiple times, winning awards for Best Sports Story, Best Sports Feature and Best Sports Anchor. Dee has had the distinction of covering four consecutive BCS National Championship games, and hopes to be the lucky charm for the Chiefs and Royals.
Before working a the Alabama News Network, Dee was a Sports Anchor/Reporter for College Sports Southeast, a 24 hour regional sports network in Birmingham, and has served as a Sports Reporter at KHBS/KHOG in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Dee and his wife Tracy have three children, Trezmond, Brittany, and Jordan.
In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth baseball as a part of Major League Baseball's RBI Program and listening to live music! (Not at the same time).
