KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Bieber Fever is "insane" locally as a Sprint Center concert date approaches for the Canadian pop prince, a Kansas City ticket broker said
Justin Bieber performs at the Sprint Center on Friday, and if you want tickets, you better be willing to open up your wallet pretty far.
The demand for tickets is peaking, and with savvy sellers snatching up tickets and looking for a profit, the prices are going through the roof.
The cost to buy a ticket now runs anywhere from $300 to $3,000 for his Kansas City show.
ACE Sports at Oak Park Mall told 41 Action News that parents are shelling out that kind of money for their Bieber-crazed toddlers to teenagers who are negotiating away everything in life.
"It's crazy," said Broker Hal Wagner, who has seen children give up their birthday and Chrittmas presents to see the tween icon.
The ACE Sports owner said only the Miley Cyrus concert had sold out faster than Justin Bieber.
Her show sold out in just six minutes in 2009.
