Kansas City's finest freaks showed up in droves Thursday night at two of the city's most popular haunted houses.
It was another night of auditions for the West Bottoms’ haunted attractions the Edge of Hell and the Beast.
"We're always looking for high energy. We're looking for someone who's committed to the season," Amber Arnett-Bequeaith said. She’s the vice president at Full Moon Productions, the company that hires the ghouls and golbins who spend the Halloween season at the haunted houses.
"We're also looking for people who can take that character into a whole different unique development," says Arnett-Bequeaith.
And it's not hard for Full Moon Productions to find their cast.
"I love acting and performing,” Taylor Ecehelmeyer said. She was one of the many hopefuls who showed up Thursday night. “And I love Halloween so what better way to do what I love.”
This is the 38th season for the Edge of Hell and the 22nd for the Beast. They both open August 31.
