AMC offers 12 hours of Marvel movies ahead of 'Avengers' premiere

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - AMC is hosting a Marvel movie marathon at several Kansas City theaters before the midnight premiere of 'The Avengers'.

The marathon starts at 11:30 a.m. and lasts all day Thursday, May 3.

Tickets for the event cost $40.

It includes the six Marvel series movies: 'Iron Man', 'The Incredible Hulk', 'Iron Man 2', 'Thor' in 3D, 'Captain America' in 3D and of course, 'The Avengers' in 3D.

According to AMC, there are still tickets available for the movie marathon at all their Kansas City locations: BarryWoods 24, Independence 20 and Studio 30 in Olathe.

AMC Studio 30 in Olathe is expected to sell out.
