Hollywood couple ANDREW GARFIELD and EMMA STONE experienced a little puppy love at Christmas after adopting a new dog.
The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars reportedly took the two-year-old golden retriever home for the holidays to make sure she was the perfect pet - and it didn't take long for them to fall in love.
A source tells People.com that, after the initial trial period, the couple officially adopted the pooch, named Ren, on Christmas Eve (24Dec12).
The lucky pup was surrendered by her previous owner and was close to doggy death row when Garfield and Stone first fell for her at the Spot! Dog Rescue of Los Angeles.
The source adds, "They left and they couldn't stop thinking about her, so they came back for her. And it's true love."
