Heidi Klum lost her toenails in Halloween headache

Supermodel HEIDI KLUM keeps her feet hidden away after having to glue her toenails back on following a series of foot accidents.

The incident-prone Project Runway host recently revealed she shot a fashion commercial in high heels for denim brand Jordache over the summer (12) while nursing a broken toe, but it was just the latest in a long line of problems with her feet - and one shoe disaster last year (Oct11) left her without nails on her big toes.

During an appearance on new U.S. talk show Katie, which aired on Wednesday (12Sep12), she said, "The Halloween before I had these shoes on that were too high, too tight... I lost both of the toe nails. First it went blue and I kept colouring them and then it just fell off. I'm like, 'What am I gonna do now?' and, especially in my job, I just superglued them both on."

The problem forced Klum to reassess her wardrobe choices and now she tries to avoid putting her feet on display whenever possible.

She adds, "My poor stylist, she had to find every closed-toe shoe on the planet!"
