The stars of TV hit JERSEY SHORE are to host a telethon to aid the relief effort in New Jersey in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
Parts of Seaside Heights, where the cast filmed the reality TV show, were washed away by last week's (beg29Oct12) superstorm - and the stars are regrouping after filming their final season to raise money on behalf of the non-profit organization Architecture for Humanity.
MTV will air the fundraising special, Restore the Shore, on Thursday (08Nov12).
Other guests will be announced later this week.
The special will follow NBC's telethon, which aired on Friday night (02Nov12) and helped raise $23 million for the American Red Cross.
