Actor MATTHEW BRODERICK halted his Broadway show NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT on Friday (15Feb13) to chastise an audience member for filming the performance.
The Ferris Bueller's Day Off star, who plays the lead in the musical, was furious to see a man recording the production at the Imperial Theater, so he stopped the show.
A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "Broderick broke character to tell someone in the front row to stop filming him. He will not tolerate people filming or shooting pictures."
A representative for the star adds, "When Matthew addressed the person, he stopped."
