Sam Worthington's charge dismissed

A disorderly conduct charge against actor SAM WORTHINGTON has been dropped following his arrest in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday (03Nov12).

The Avatar star was busted amid allegations he turned violent after he was denied entry into a bar called Vortex.

Club security guard Jerry Link used pepper spray to subdue the Australian action man, who was reportedly intoxicated, until police arrived to take him into custody.

However, the charge was dismissed on Monday morning (05Nov12) after Link failed to show up to a Georgia court hearing, according to TMZ.com.

Worthington, 36, is currently shooting action drama Ten in the state with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
