Actor SETH ROGEN suffered an embarrassing health scare recently when a doctor found an "anomaly" in his groin region.

The Green Hornet star went for a full check-up and was given a fright when the examination revealed a problem.

Rogen admits the most humiliating part of the experience came when he was asked to strip off so the doctor could take pictures of the affected area.

He tells U.S. talk show host David Letterman, "They examine every inch of your body. Literally every inch of your body. And my wife was there with me, which was surreal... It's not funny. They found an anomaly on my groinal (sic) region... What happens when they do that is they have to document it. They have to take a photo of it. So there's this 50-year-old woman in the room and my wife and they're like 'we have to take a picture of your bare groinal (sic) region."

Rogen tried to see the funny side of the situation by pulling some manly poses as the doctor took the pictures: "I'd never taken nude photos in my life... And so, I wanted them to be good. My instinct was to (pose)... I remember seeing Burt Reynolds on the cover of Playgirl once... They didn't want that though..."

The funnyman is convinced the anomaly is "just a mole" but doctors will continue to monitor it, and he jokes, "I will have a calender in 11 more visits."
