KANSAS CITY, Mo. - American Royal plans to replace Kemper Arena with a new agricultural events center.
The group held its annual Board of Governors’ meeting on March 14 at the World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial. The new facility at Kemper Arena could bring in an additional $15 million per year, according to a recent economic study.
The total economic impact for the building at the current Kemper Arena site would equal $75 million, according to American Royal.
The group said private fundraising is helping the vision become a reality.
