KANSAS CITY, Mo. - John Hughes is one of the most influential names in 1980's Hollywood cinema. When he died of a heart attack in 2009, he left us an entire reel of unforgettable classics that continue to make us smile.

He helped showcase the works of iconic comedians such as Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd and many others. Not to mention his writing that's still going strong in pop culture today -- "Bueller anyone?"
