KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Singer Chris Mann joined us on 41 Action News Wednesday.
Mann, from Wichita, Kan., was a participant in the last season of “The Voice.” He made it to the final four before being eliminated.
Now known for his opera-like voice, Mann said it wasn’t until he stopped trying to change his style that doors really opened up for him.
“I kinda got caught up in trying to transform what I was doing to try to fit in a little bit better,” Mann said.
Mann has two albums coming out soon. His Walmart-exclusive Christmas album will be available this week, and his debut “Roads” will be in stores on Oct. 30.
“It’s the record I always dreamed of making,” Mann said of “Roads,” which includes a duet with pop star Christina Aguilera, his coach on “The Voice.”
