WICHITA, Kan. - A Kansas native is being honored all month long for his success on NBC's “The Voice”.
The mayor of Wichita declared June to be Chris Mann Month.
The singer was in town on Friday to sign autographs and get a seal of the city.
Mann, who is a Wichita native, made it to the final four on “The Voice”. He even got the chance to perform with his coach on the show - pop star Christina Aguilera.
"Hopefully I have a big career, it's what I've always wanted,” Mann said. “Tony Bennett is still singing. I would love to be like that, still singing well into my eighties, if I'm lucky."
Mann is heading to Washington DC and New York for concerts this weekend.
He'll perform in his hometown again on June 16.
