American Century Investments collects more than 900 pairs of shoes for Soles4Souls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - This year's Soles4Souls drive at American Century Investments collected more than 900 pairs of shoes in just two weeks.

It's the second year for the drive and the tough economy didn't get in the way of contributions.

"We do a lot of drives. We do Harvesters and different things like that ... so employees are used to giving back but to have this many shoes again this year is incredible,” said Jeanne Greenwald of American Century Investments.

The Soles4Souls charity is based in Nashville and will distribute the shoes to people in the United States and other places around the world.
