KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For some parents, the definition of eternity is summer vacation with a teenager in the house.
Saturday morning, author and child psychologist, Dr. Wes Crenshaw stopped by 41 Action News Weekend Today and shared advice for surviving the rest of the summer with your teenager.
Many households also have kids leaving for college in a few weeks. Crenshaw said many parents and teens will face anxiety as the school year approaches.
If you are looking for advice, Dr. Crenshaw has two books that address the issues many families face this time of year ; Dear Dr. Wes: Real Life Advice for Teens, and Real Life Advice for Parents of Teens.
You can purchase the books at Barns & Noble, Amazon or Rainy Day Books in Kansas City.
