LEAWOOD, Kansas - An aspiring filmmaker from Leawood has his sights set on the Super Bowl. Like many on February 6, he will be watching the game for the commercials – the chance to see his own commercial.

Brad Bosley was named a Pepsi Max finalist in the Crash the Super Bowl Challenge. His 30 second spot was selected as one of ten finalists.

It features a couple bickering over bad eating habits, while agreeing on Pepsi Max’s “zero calories – maximum taste” slogan.

This is the 5th year for the amateur challenge and Bosley's second try. He entered a Doritos commercial a few years ago, but didn’t make the cut.

He won't find out who wins until everyone else does on Super Bowl Sunday.

“All of the ten finalists get to go to the Super Bowl, which is another great perk of being a finalist.” Bosley explains. “I will find out during the Super Bowl if my commercial airs during the Super Bowl.”

It took Bosley about a month to produce the spot, with some help from his film making friends.

“I have a comic sensibility. All of my short films are broad, physical, visual comedies,” he said. “And so I thought I could do really well at commercials.”
