KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Chocolate and beer lovers alike will once again get to savor a very special drink in the Kansas City area on Tuesday.
Boulevard Brewery will begin selling their Chocolate Ale just in time for Valentine’s day.
It will be available in liquor and grocery stores across the city.
The ale was so popular in 2011, the 1,600 cases produced sold out—some disappearing off shelves within hours of being stocked.
“Holy cow, did we ever misjudge your feelings towards chocolate in beer,” the company said in a statement on their website after last year’s response.
The company learned from the experience, however, and this year it plans to produce 4,500 cases to cover demand.
