KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City has become a test market for a new McDonalds meal...or should we say two.
For the first time, McDonalds has brought the multi-person boxed meal to the United States,
The “Blitz Box” includes two Quarter Pounders with cheese, two medium fries and 20 chicken McNuggets for $14.99.
A McDonalds spokeswoman says the meal deal was introduced to Kansas City last week to coincide with the Chiefs season.
The meal will run the rest of the football season in Kansas City and St. Joseph.
The multi-meal was initially introduced in Australia, where various combinations of cheeseburgers, Big Macs and Quarter Pounders were included.
Altogether, the meal nears 2,990 calories.
