KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It feels more like spring out than winter. Not only is that confusing for Kansas City-area residents, but it's baffling to the yards.
Some flowers are starting to sprout and buds on trees are appearing.
NBC Action News spoke with Grass Pad who said the best thing to do right now is keep your lawn and flowers watered.
"If you can get the hose out, I wouldn't dewinterize my irrigation system. I would probably go old school and pull out the hose and sprinkler and then put a fresh layer of mulch on things to retain that moisture,” said Jerry Moore.
Moore added that is also a great time to add grass seed, but don’t forget the water.
