The snow is finally melting. Now that you can see your grass, it’s important to remember to start a good lawn program. The key to having a healthy, beautiful lawn is based on experience and sometimes even trial and error.
You don’t have to go through all of the experimentation to have a great lawn. It depends on what type of grass you have. Each month is laid out with all the steps you need for proper watering, mowing and fertilization.
First, it’s very important to mow at the correct height during different times of the season and to always use a sharp blade.
Believe it or not most of us water at the wrong time and water way too much; and this can cause even more problems than not watering at all.
Finally, our lawns need food. Using the right fertilizer at the right time can be a big difference between success of failure.
If you follow this lawn program you are going to have a better than average shot at a gorgeous lawn. So start mowing and watering and fertilizing and good luck!
