KANSAS CITY, Mo. - If you're saving your fireworks for next year, the Kansas Department of Health suggests putting them in a cool, dry place.
If they're damaged or you just don't want to keep them, state officials recommend soaking them in water.
Once the firework is completely wet, you should double bag them in plastic and then throw them away.
You can also contact your local fire department if you need help getting rid of them.
