Recycle your Christmas lights for a good cause

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Looking for a place to get rid of your Christmas lights? How about recycling them for a good cause?

You can take your Christmas lights to any one of these five locations:

  • Southeast Enterprises (M-F) 7:30-3:30, 6701 Booth
  • VML (M-F): Downtown Airport Lobby, 2020 Baltimore (3rd Floor)
  • Lee’s Summit North Recycling Center (T&Th) 9a-6p (Sat) 8a-4p, 1951 NE Douglas, Lee’s Summit
  • Raytown City Hall (M-F) 8-5, 10000 E. 59th Stret
  • Lee’s Summit Cartridge World (M-F) 8:30a-6p (Sat) 9a-4p, Cedar Creek Mail 3rd & Ward, Lee’s Summit

They will be collected by Southeast Enterprises . Southeast Enterprises is a nonprofit organization that provides Jackson County citizens who are intellectually and developmentally disabled with employment opportunities.

The lights will be broken down for recycling.

You have until Jan. 28 to drop the lights off at the locations.
