KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Santa's weekdays are filled with young children sitting in his lap revealing their Christmas wishes. But on the weekends you'll find Santa having an underwater adventure at Sea Life Kansas City Aquarium.

Santa's first underwater adventure this season was Saturday, and hundreds of people were there to watch. While dressed in his traditional suit, Santa jumped in the water and ten took pictures with youngsters who were on dry land in front of the aquarium window.

In addition to the underwater Santa, Legoland Discovery Center Kansas City had participants help decorate its Christmas tree by building Lego ornaments and placing them on the tree.

Visitors also enjoyed an educational tour of the aquarium with themed holiday activities helping children understand the special gifts they can find under the sea.

The underwater Santa will be available for pictures from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday in December. The Sea Life Aquarium Kansas City is at Crown Center Mall. You can purchase advance tickets at Sea Life Kansas City.
