KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It's almost time for the Kansas City Irish Fest and organizers are looking for help.
They need 1,200 volunteers in order to put on the three-day festival, and as of Thursday, nearly 100 volunteers were still needed.
There are volunteer opportunities from working in the children's area to concession stands. Organizers said there is something in it for everyone and that it is, “more fun than it is work."
The Kansas City Irish Fest will be held August 30 through September 1 at Crown Center. To volunteer, visit KCIrisihFest.com.
