KANSAS CITY, Mo. - There is no shortage of marathons in Kansas City to raise money and awareness for good causes. But they can sometimes be a headache for people living and driving through Kansas City neighborhoods.
Tuesday, the Kansas City Parks Board approved a contract to hire a race coordinator. The coordinator will help control traffic around the runs and guide drivers to detours.
The coordinator will also help decide appropriate routes for different runs in the city.
