KANSAS CITY, Missouri - Spay & Neuter Kansas City rescued about 30 cats Tuesday from a hoarding situation in Merwin, Missouri.
Merwin is a small town about an hour south of Kansas City.
Local rescue groups and shelters including Wayside Waifs helped Spay & Neuter with the rescue.
According to Spay & Neuter, the owner of the cats recently passed away and relatives asked Spay & Neuter to rescue the felines.
Nearly 30 live cats were found living in the owner's trailer in Merwin.
The cats will be spayed and neutered and will be provided with medical care.
If you are interested in adopting one of the cats, visit the Spay & Neuter or Wayside Waifs websites. You may also volunteer to foster the cats or give a donation to help with the care.
