KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Perceus, the dog who was lost after the explosion at JJ’s Restaurant, has been safely located, according to the Great Plains SPCA.
Perceus was found Saturday morning at 36th and Olive by a team of volunteers searching for him.
The 2-year-old yellow lab reportedly got scared after the explosion and ran away from his handler.
His owner, Dr. John Verstraete, whose office on the Country Club Plaza was damaged in the blast, was reunited with him shortly after.
