KANSAS CITY, Mo - Chain of Hope rescued several puppies from their owners who planned to keep the dogs chained up in the backyard.

Their life would have been limited to a small yard on a chain without much movement or interaction.

Two puppies came on the Midday show and showed their love for 41 Action News anchor Curtis Jay.

Macy and Mackenzie were not bashful with Curtis.  Macy was very affectionate tearing off Curtis' mic to give him kisses and lick his ears.

The puppies are 7-week-old female beagle mixes.

If you would like to adopt a puppy call 816-221-8080 or visit ChainofHopeKC.org .
