KANSAS CITY, Mo - Volunteers at Chain of Hope say they're extremely low on dog and cat food.
Throughout the year, Chain of Hope supplies food and shelter for hundreds of abandoned or mistreated animals around the metro.
The agency goes through thousands of pounds of food and treats to keep malnourished dogs and cats alive.
If you can help Chain of Hope replenish their stock, they're holding a food drive this Thursday and Friday from 4-8 pm.
If you can help drop off any brand of pet food at the Hy-Vee grocery store located at 310 SW Ward Road in Lee's Summit.
You can also donate to Chain of Hope KC by calling 816-221-8080.
