KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Couples looking to tie the knot on Valentine’s Day can do so for free at one Kansas City church

Free weddings will be offered Thursday at Unity Church on the Country Club Plaza.

At Unity Church, at least 30 couples have signed up to exchange vows in the church’s three chapels.

The church is also providing free flowers, gift bags and a professional photographer.

Pre-registration is not required and you can still participate in the ceremonies, set to happen between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

"If nothing else, come down and see and decide if you're ready to take that step or not,” Rev. Duke  Tuffy said.

Couples can also opt to renew their vows, or simply have a non-legal commitment ceremony.

At City Market, 13 couples will be getting married in the Glass Pavilion at Market Square. The ceremonies will take place every 15 minutes from noon until 3 p.m.
