KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 41 Action News has discovered a little-known secret about one of Sporting KC's star players.
Aurelien Collin is a defender on the soccer field by day and a fashion designer by night.
At just 19 years old, the Paris native became a professional soccer player.
He traveled the world, learned four languages and accomplished his ultimate dream in 2011: playing soccer in America.
But when he is not playing, he's got designs on designing.
Collin said, surrounded by sketches of his men's suit line, "I have another passion, which is fashion."
He has launched his own company, AC 78.
He lives in Westport and in one of the most fashionable districts in Paris. He admits soccer has helped get him connected.
He has design ideas he said he's working on for ADIDAS shoes. He is also about to work on orders from his teammates and a special suit for Sporting KC owner and CEO Robb Heineman.
Heineman will debut Collin's design at the All-Star Game.
Kansas City hosts the MLS All Star game on July 31.
