KANSAS CITY, Missouri - America: Now and Here, a traveling art experience about life post 9/11 is opening in Kansas City Friday.
The exhibit features about 100 local and 150 national artists, including photographers, sculptures, painters, poets, filmmakers, musicians and theatrical performers.
Location: The Leedy-Voulkos Art Center at 2012 Baltimore
Dates: May 6-28 (open Wednesday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
Opening Party: May 6 at 6 p.m.
