From flowers to expensive gifts and chocolate, Valentine's Day is a day for love and money.
62% of adults say they celebrate Valentine’s Day. The average person will likely drop $130 on Valentine’s Day.
Men are the bigger spenders: they'll shell out between $150 and $175. That’s about twice what women will spend.
Many of those who procrastinate might find themselves in flower shops. The application foursquare says they're the most popular spot for last-minute valentine's shoppers.
Two other popular places to spend the holiday are a French restaurant or a cupcake shop.
