KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Business leaders in northeast Kansas City got the chance to ask questions about the new Google broadband Tuesday.
It’s been a year since Google picked the metro for its gigabit fiber to home broadband network.
One speaker said it's imperative that communities take ownership of the project and find ways to help it get to everyone sooner.
Last month, Google began laying the underground fiber.
In addition to Internet service, Google will also offer cable service as well.
