CLAYCOMO, Mo. - A Claycomo, Mo., towing business was paid a not-so-friendly visit by the IRS Wednesday morning.
Nick's Good Times Tow, 50 S Whitney, was raided by the IRS around 8:45 a.m. for non-payment of back taxes.
Claycomo Police Chief Stephen Coonce said Wednesday his department stopped using the company’s services due to the IRS visit.
Back in March, the company was subject of a Call for Action report after a Liberty woman was charged $913 for a 5-mile tow.
When reached by phone, an employee could only say the company is still in business.
