KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Portuguese firm is planning to locate a $31 million factory in the east bottoms of Kansas City that could bring 80 new jobs to the region.
A spokeswoman from the Kansas City Area Development Council confirmed reports that Logoplaste is planning a 200,000 square-foot building in the 6900 block of Executive Drive.
Logoplaste describes itself as an international firm making rigid plastic packaging for food and beverage, personal care and household care products.
The KCADC spokeswoman confirmed the Missouri Department of Economic Development provided more than $1.1 million in economic incentives to land the deal.
