Shatto to celebrate 10 years with special milk flavors

OSBORN, Mo. - Chocolate-cherry milk with a Valentine’s Day-themed bottle is the first of five special flavors Shatto Milk Co. will release in honor of its 10th anniversary in business this year.

Each flavor will be packaged in a half-liter glass bottle featuring a word or story associated with the flavor.

For instance, the chocolate-cherry milk bottle will have the word "SMOOCH" imprinted on it. Just 2,000 "SMOOCH" bottles have been created, and they will go sale later this week.

Shatto’s 10th anniversary is not officially until June 2013, but the dairy is celebrating throughout the year. To commemorate the actual anniversary, Shatto plans to hold a "Family Day at the Farm" event in late June.
