KANSAS CITY, Mo. - At least two or three times a week, you hear about a new product being recalled.
But a majority of products that are recalled often remain in your home.
For some, it's a lack of awareness. For others, they think something bad won't happen to them.
Either way, it's important to take a look and make sure you're not in danger.
Some of the most dangerous items include the following:
- LG dehumidifiers
- Drop-side cribs - numerous brands have been recalled since 2007.
- Family Dollar Store toy dart guns
- Gel fuel - it's highly flammable and could ignite in the container
- Window shades and blinds - every brand of Roman shade and rollup blinds made before 2009 could be putting you at risk
All of these have hidden dangers, and it's a good idea to make sure you don't have one.
