KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The Consumer Product Safety Commission, along with American Woodcrafters, announced the recall of the Wood Twin Bunk Beds and Loft Bunk Beds.
The company has received two reports of cracked guard rails causing the mattresses and support rails to collapse. No injuries were reported.
If you own one, you should contact American Woodcrafters or their furniture dealer to arrange for a free replacement of the upper bunk guard rails.
More details on the product description are on CPSC.gov.
Another recent recall involves a blender made by Select Brands of Lenexa, Kansas.
The recall affects all Chefmate 6-Speed blenders, model BL-10. The plastic pitcher can separate from the blade, leaving the blade assembly in the base and exposing the rotating blades. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission reported 7 cases of serious cuts to fingers' and hands.
