KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Consumers are constantly at risk of identity theft. One of the best ways for you to protect yourself from this crime is to shred your personal financial documents.
Call For Action will hold its annual Shred-it event Saturday, April 13 from 8-11 a.m. Shred-it trucks will be set up at six Commerce Bank locations across the Kansas City area. Consumers can bring a maximum of three boxes or bags of personal financial documents that will be destroyed at those locations. The event is free.
Shred-it Kansas City , Commerce Bank , the Kansas City Better Business Bureau , Kids TLC and Call For Action are all proud sponsors of this event. Kids TLC will be accepting donations.

Prairie Village at 83rd and Mission
Kansas City at 135th and State Line Road
Lenexa at 87th and Monrovia
Shawnee at Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Monticello
Lee's Summit at 291 Highway and 3rd
Olathe at 159th and Mur-Len
