Check your home for these top 6 recalls

Millions of recalled products -- from cars to kiddie toys -- are still in American homes, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Why? In many cases, we never registered the product, bought it used, or moves, so we don't receive the recall notice sent out in the mail.

So the CPSC has just released the top recently recalled summertime products , which your family may use in the coming weeks.

They include:

-Adventure Playsets, sold at Walmart, Toys R Us, and Menards since 2005: The wood can rot too fast.

-Dartmouth metal swing sets, sold at Toys R Us last year: The seats can break.

-Disney Princess and Fairies Trikes, sold at Target since 2009: A laceration hazard.

-Build a Bear swimming tubes, sold since 2011: A strangulation hazard.

Two patio item recalls:

-Uni-O Portable Grills, sold since 2008 at Walgreens and Dicks sporting goods: They can catch fire.

-Pourable fuel gel, sold since 2006 at Bed Bath and Beyond and home center stores: The gel can cause severe burns.

And for the yard:

-Honda grass trimmers, sold since 2006 at Honda Power Equipment centers: A laceration hazard.
